These incentives are part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. The amount received is based on Medicare-allowed charges submitted during the payment year or payment time frame. Chiropractors receive 75 percent of their eligible Medicare-allowed charges, up to the maximum limit for a certain payment year.
