Future Health Chosen as Preferred EHR Software by ACA/TeamCME, Accredited Training Organization for DCs performing DOT Exams

DES MOINES, Iowa (May 21, 2012)—Future Health announced today its EHR (electronic health records) software was chosen as the preferred EHR for performing DOT physical exams by the American Chiropractic Association (ACA)/TeamCME accredited training organization.

The ACA and TeamCME training fulfills the federal requirement to become certified in the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners in order to perform medical exams for commercial drivers. New DOT rule effective today, May 21, affecting DCs as medical examiners

"The DOT will require that DCs become certified examiners in order to perform DOT physicals," said Dr. Steven Kraus, founder and CEO of Future Health.
